The end of these conveyors pivot up and lock into place, allowing employees to easily move between workstations without the need for crossovers, platforms, and catwalks.
The belt can be designed to move when the conveyor is locked in the up position, allowing the product to accumulate, or shut off using a safety magnetic switch.
The bars to activate the pivoting feature are located on both sides and are linked together for easy access from either side of the conveyor. Gas shocks decrease the weight of the pivoting section, making it easier for the operator to lift.
