Fusion Tech Offers Monolithic Belt Splicing Service
Fusion Tech Integrated, a custom metal fabrication company specializing in the food processing industry, announced today that is now offering belt splicing services for monolithic style conveyor belting used in the food processing industry.
The purchase of an Amigo™ Splice Press in August 2016 means Fusion Tech can ensure tight pitch tolerance free from pinhole air pockets that can harbor bacteria and contaminate food product. This technology also keeps the belt splice from wearing out prematurely.
“We’ve had a number of food processing companies need belt splicing, and there are only a few companies that offer the service. Here at Fusion Tech, we do our best to meet our customer’s needs and provide them with quality and affordable recommendations. When pricing out belt splicing services for a customer, we couldn’t believe how much people were charging. We knew that Fusion Tech could provide a similar service for less, and invested in the splice press to better meet the needs of our customers,” said Brandon Bentz, Vice President of Fusion Tech.
