The SH-1 Shredder Shroud is an add-on accessory used by processors choosing to hand-feed the SH-1 Shredder. It was designed to keep product from flying out of the shredder while turning the paddle wheel.
It is best used for those processors choosing to load the SH-1 Shredder by hand. Dumping from a tote would not work well with the shroud.
The Shroud Kit consists of a stainless steel, three-sided shroud that attaches to the SH-1 Shredder, a plastic curtain on the front, and 3 pins and knobs. Simply weld the 3 pins onto the SH-1 Shredder and attach the shroud with the included knobs.
Constructed of high grade stainless steel with fully seal welded seams, the SH-1 Shredder Shroud exceeds all AMI Sanitary Design Requirements and is durable enough to withstand the most demanding use.
