SolidWorks Designer - Roseville, IL Location

Summary:
The SolidWorks Designer is responsible for creating complex models, layouts, drawings and sketches using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. This position will be based out of our Roseville, Illinois location.

Responsibilities:

  • Create models, layouts, drawings, and sketches using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • Verify parts, sub-assemblies, and assemblies can be built from the model using the equipment present
  • Work with project managers to estimate design and drafting times and design concepts
  • Input data into an ERP system
  • Some communication with the customer is required
  • May require travel to customer’s facilities for measurements and research

Qualifications:

Two (2) years of experience with SolidWorks 3D Modeling and AutoCAD 2D Software is required. Other qualifications include:

  • Must be able to read and decipher blueprints, schematics, weld symbols, GD&T, and surface finishes
  • Must display excellent mechanical and analytical skills
  • Highly organized
  • Experience in developing complete and accurate bills of materials
  • Must possess clear and concise communication skills
  • Proficient use of software programs, MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), ERP/MRP system, planning/scheduling tools
  • Knowledge of sheet metal and forming is a plus

Compensation:
An hourly compensation will be determined by experience and qualifications. Benefit package which includes health insurance, PTO, and simple IRA will be provided.

Territory Manager - Region 2

Summary:
The Territory Manager is responsible to identify, develop, and pursue opportunities to profitably grow our business with in the Continental US.

Region 2:
Region 2 contains the following states: Kansas, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota.

Responsibilities:

  • Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products and services.
  • Makes telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
  • Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
  • Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
  • Continued customer support and account maintenance after the sale.
  • Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups.
  • Analyzes the territory/market’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers value to the organization.
  • Creates and manages a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities.
  • Identifies advantages and compares organization’s products/services.
  • Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment.
  • Gathers all information to help better quote / service job (i.e. – scope of work, definition of job, budgets, deadlines, partners, general contractors, etc).
  • Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Continual updates into Insightly (web based) CRM System for all new clients as well as call and email correspondence tagged to the organization or personnel associated to the organization.
  • Create and follow up on tasks assigned to opportunities continually updating. IE. Phone numbers, fax, email, pertinent contacts, job titles, etc.
  • Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
  • Participates in trade shows and conventions.
  • Works with marketing to develop a strategy to increase sales growth and potential within the territory / market segment.
  • Potential collections for projects may be required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Travel:

  • Regular travel is to be expected with this position.
  • Travel will mostly be limited to your territory, but travel outside your territory may be needed.

Qualifications:

Two (2) years of proven successful sales experience in a related market. Other qualifications include:

  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving
  • Ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach)
  • Results-orientated
  • Able to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and Insightly.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be physically able to drive
  • Must be able to work overtime when needed
  • Must be physically able to travel by car, train, and/or plane
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds
  • This position includes periods of telephone-intensive work and may require sitting for long periods of time

Compensation:
Base pay and commission will be determined by experience and qualifications. Benefit package which includes health insurance, PTO, and simple IRA will be provided.

TIG Welder

Summary:
Stainless steel TIG welders must be able to read blueprints and have a minimum of two years TIG welding experience. Must be able and willing to travel on occasion to install or service equipment. Welding and blueprint reading test will be required at time of interview.

Travel:

  • Must be able and willing to travel on occasion to install or service equipment.

Qualifications:

Two (2) years of TIG Welding experience. Other qualifications include:

  • Able to read blueprints
  • Able to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Must be able to work overtime when needed
  • Must be physically able to travel by car, train, and/or plane

Compensation:

Machining Supervisor - 3rd Shift

Summary:
The Machining Supervisor is responsible for all machining personnel, interpreting customer prints, setting up and programming machines, part inspection to provide complete machine component to print.

Hours:
This is a 3rd shift position, working 10:30pm-7am.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpretation of customer prints
  • Creating parts from solid square, rectangular or round stock to meet customer print
  • Creating parts from waterjet or laser “rough shapes” to meet customer prints
  • Complete machine set-ups
  • CNC programming for machines
  • Loading and unloading of parts into machines
  • Complete and continuous part inspection including signing off parts produced by fellow employees as second quality check
  • De-burring and countersinking of parts produced on specified equipment
  • 100 % responsible to produce parts to meet customer print
  • Operate in a clean safe environment

Qualifications:
High School or GED diploma – minimum, 2 year technical degree and/or  3-5 years minimal experience required. Other qualifications include:

  • Ability to lead and teach employees
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Ability to adapt in a “job shop” environment
  • Set-up and create CNC programs
  • Knowledge of CNC code and ability to apply that knowledge to various types of equipment
  • Quality conscious
  • Ability to read various types of inspection equipment
  • Have your own tools

Physical Requirements:
Moderate physical effort involving standing, bending, reaching and handling materials up to 50lbs. Normal shop conditions involving heat, cold, dirt and noise.

Compensation:
