Job Purpose:
This primary role of maintenance is to perform general maintenance and repairs for the company.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair
- Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs
- Plans repair work using building blueprints or equipment manual as needed.
- Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician.
- Performs routine maintenance on buildings and equipment
- Cleans and assists with the upkeep of the facilities
- Prioritizing jobs to get the most critical projects done first
- Organizing maintenance shop
- Inventory control of maintenance supplies
- Maintain maintenance software
- Preventative maintenance on equipment
- Wire motors on our products
- Perform driving tests on a forklift, rough terrain, and aerial lifts.
Qualifications:
- Professional and proactive work ethic
- Proven experience with maintenance
- Knowledge of general carpentry and repair
- Computer skills
- Must be able to accurately read a tape measure and other measuring tools
- Good communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to adjust to change in schedules with little notice
- Must operate fork lift
- Operate various hand tools and equipment –including grinders, portable band saw, air tools, wrenches, etc.
- Must listen and follow directions
- Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask
- Good Analytical to resolve problems
- Excellent organizational skills
Working Conditions:
Performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly work around the facility inside and outside setting with exposure to shop noise, dust particles, and field elements to be expected in this role.
Physical Requirements:
- Physically active role
- Use of hands and feet
- Standing for a prolonged period of time up to 8 to 10 hours per day.

Compensation:
Hourly compensation will be determined by experience and qualifications. A benefits package that includes health insurance, PTO, and a simple IRA will be provided.
