Fusion Tech Makes a Donation To Rally for Reid
Fusion Tech, a leading manufacturer of custom engineered food processing equipment and systems located in Roseville, Illinois, made a donation of $10,000 to the Rally for Reid. In addition, donations of $5,000 will be made to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Each year, Fusion Tech asks customers, employees, and the local community to vote on a charity to receive a year-end donation.
Rather than send out Christmas cards that will eventually end in the trash, Fusion Tech uses that money to support a good cause.
Customers, employees, and the community had a choice between the Rally for Reid Foundation, the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Voting was open from December 19 to December 31.
The poll garnered 153 votes between Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and an email sent to Fusion Tech customers, with the following results:
- Rally for Reid: 85
- University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital: 41
- St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital: 27
Kathy Bentz, president and owner, stated, “We are proud to support such a great organization that is dear to my heart personally with a financial gift. All three organizations are doing important work in furthering research and support for children battling childhood cancers and we’re glad we are able to assist in a small way by helping raise awareness and support for all of them.”
